Calligraphy is just a fancy way of creating letters. You recognize it by it’s variation in strokes within each letter. While there are a bunch of rigid styles, modern calligraphy, what I practice most often, has a lot of freedom and personal character in it. Calligraphy is written slowly, with great care placed in each stroke.
