Travel: Berlin & Munich, Germany

The last time I visited Germany was nearly 15 years ago. Cities change so much it was amazing to visit them again and have the familiarity of the past with all the newness.

Started the day in Berlin with a bike tour.

We hand an airbnb near checkpoint Charlie. I spent the next morning slowly sipping coffee and reading.

Got great dinner and cocktails with some old friends from the US.

When we were there there were protests and they painted some famous monuments.

I took a daytrip to Sans Souci Palace.

Next we headed to Munich.

We did a night at Hofbrauhaus and met up with Richmond friends.

The next day was fully dedicated to Oktoberfest.
