Richmond Main Street Station Letterpressed Wedding Invitations
When my friend Teri reached out about designing and printing her wedding invitations, I was so excited. I already knew she had picked Main Street Station for the venue and knew immidialaty she wanted to incorporate that into the paper details.
I sketched the train station up and laid out a modern invite that I felt complimented their style. Knowing the couple helped immensely in this process! She asked for a sketch of a train that would pass by so I worked up one of those as well to use on the RSVP and detail cards. I hid their wedding date in the train details for them too!
We decided top print in a green ink that worked with all the bouquets, fabric and jewels they were using on the day. I ended up reusing the illustration of the station for some thank you cards that I gifted her so they would match everything else as well.
The invites were very simple to print and came out great. Hadley Miller took day of photos and I love how bright the invites popped in them. The invitations paired with all the small details brought me a ton of joy.
